Bainbridge Island Residence

Helena H. Bierly has an extensive portfolio of residential interiors in the Seattle area and in Washington D.C. Recently she completed Bainbridge Island residential interior design refresh of an existing home for a client who wished to update his kitchen, master bath and family room for a brand new look while keeping most of the existing furniture with the addition of a few key pieces, accessories and lighting.

Working closely with the client keeping in mind the goal of maximum enjoyment of the home with the change of paint colors, lighting and new Tibetan carpets throughout the home which also made it more appealing to potential buyers. The use of limestone tiles over the existing marble helped to create a spa-like atmosphere and painting out the kitchen cabinets in a soft grey helped to modernize and lighten up the kitchen without breaking the budget.
